Alicia Henry's Bio:
Alicia Henry has been an educator for 30 years. Alicia has worked as a Middle School Principal, Network Team Specialist and Elementary School Principal. Alicia experienced success in working collaboratively with her instructional staff to implement a data-driven instructional model which resulted in increased achievement for all students and recognition from the US Department of Education as a Blue Ribbon School in 2009. She began her career in preschool as both a Speech and Language Therapist and then a Special Education Teacher. She has also taught elementary special education and has been a Principal at the intermediate level. In addition, Alicia was a CPSE/CSE Chairperson overseeing a special education population of approximately 600 students. She has credible experience in effective leadership, instruction, curriculum, scheduling, character education, special education, literacy, common core learning standards, professional development, and data-driven instruction.
